Description	:	My distant cousin, Arnold Dean Hudlow, was the grandson of my great-uncle, William Isaac Hudlow (a brother of my grandmother, Amanda HUDLOW Arnold) and great-aunt, Lula Mae SUMNER Hudlow. He was the son of Floyd Sumner Hudlow and Blanche Irene RICHMOND Hudlow. He was a lifetime resident of the North Franklin community in Washington state and attended school in Lahlotus for seven years, graduated from Connell High School, and received a bachelor's degree in agriculture from Washington State College. Read More	My distant cousin, Arnold Dean Hudlow, was the grandson of my great-uncle, William Isaac Hudlow (a brother of my grandmother, Amanda HUDLOW Arnold) and great-aunt, Lula Mae SUMNER Hudlow. He was the son of Floyd Sumner Hudlow and Blanche Irene RICHMOND Hudlow. He was a lifetime resident of the North Franklin community in Washington state and attended school in Lahlotus for seven years, graduated from Connell High School, and received a bachelor's degree in agriculture from Washington State College. After college, he returned home to the family dry land wheat farm. On August 29, 1953, Arnold married his high school sweetheart, Danell JOLLY. Arnold Dean Hudlow was very active in his community. He was a member of Connell/Kahlotus Grange for over 60 years; a board member of Bailie Youth Ranch for 9 years; member of the Washington Association of Wheat Growers; served as fire commissioner for North Franklin County District #1; was on the board of directors for the Connell Heritage Museum; was an active member of the Connell Methodist Church, and was the current Connell Man of the Year. Arnold Dean Hudlow died at the Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, after a short battle with cancer. Arnold was survived by Danell, his wife of 57 years; his sister, Ella Mae; children Jodi, Jeri, Wayde, Jamie, and Dan and Sam Pavel; 12 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial was held at the Connell United Methodist Church and a family graveside service was, also, held at Mountain View Cemetery. It was requested that memorials be given to the Connell Heritage Museum Annex Building Fund in lieu of flowers. Arnold Dean Hudlow was much loved and is very much missed by all.
