Potvin, 77, of Chelan, died Friday, March 19, 1993, at his home following an extended illness. He was born May 20, 1915, to George and Delia (Miller) Potvin, at Okanogan. He attended school at Okanogan and then worked with his father on a dray outfit hauling coal. He also hauled lumber for Wagner's Mill at Twisp. He married LaVaughn Whitehall on Jan. 15, 1949, at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He worked as a truck driver for construction companies including several working on the dams on the Columbia River. He was a member of the Teamsters, Local 760 of Yakima, the Chelan Eagles, Aerie No. 2218 and the Chelan Boating Club. He is survived by his wife, at the home; a son, Terry of Seattle; a daughter, Karen Cumming of Wenatchee; a sister, Ruby Reynolds of Spokane; four grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Arrangements are by Precht Rose Chapel of Chelan.
