Arthur Olson was born June 4, 1927, in New Hampton, Iowa, to Ole and Julia Olson. When he was 3 his family moved to the Artesian area and later to a farm south of Forestburg. He graduated from Forestburg High School in 1945. In 1948 he married. They moved to a farm east of Woonsocket where he lived for the past 60 years. He was a member of the Forestburg Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, six children, 22 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers Russell, Edward and Calvin.
