Born April 12, 1944, in Foxville, Md., he was the son of the late Arch and Charlotte Misner Buhrman. He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Priscilla Ann Bowman Buhrman, on Nov. 14, 2008. He attended Foxville and Thurmont area schools. He was a self-employed mason. He is survived by three sons, Troy L. Buhrman of Cascade, Tim S. Buhrman of Pleasant Valley, Md., and Kevin E. Buhrman of Sabillasville; one sister, Louella Rowe of Foxville, Md.; two brothers, Henry Buhrman of Pleasant Valley and Tommy Buhrman of Cascade; two grandchildren; nieces; and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Travis Buhrman and Duane Buhrman; two sisters, Leabell Brandenburg and Lorrain Hurley; and two infant brothers, Larry Buhrman and Archie Buhrman. The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral Home in Smithsburg. Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.
