Read More	OBITUARY: NORTHFIELD FARMS Arthur Vile, who had been seriously ill at his home here, for 12 days, was taken to the Franklin County hospital in Greenfield last week Tuesday morning by Dr. Philbrick. He passed away there on Thursday morning at the age of 31 years. Mr. Vile moved with his family to this place a few years ago from Vermont, the past winter he had been employed in the Millers Falls company's shop and was held in high esteem by all who knew him. He was greatly devoted to his family. The funeral was held at the church in West Halifax on last Saturday at 1 o'clock. He leaves a wife and three small children, a mother and father in New York State and a sister, Mrs. Pinney, of Chester, Vt. Much sympathy is expressed for his wife and children. Mr. C. A. Parker took Mrs. Arthur Vile, Mrs. Archie Burnet, Mr. and Mrs. Vile, Mr. and Mrs. Pinney by auto to attend the funeral in West Halifax, and met other relatives there. VILE Arthur H. Vile, 31, passed away at Franklin County hospital in Greenfield last week Thursday morning. He was taken ill at his home here April 10, and was very ill for 12 days and on Tuesday April 22, was taken by attending physician, Dr. Philbrick, to the hospital where he failed rapidly. Mrs. Vile and her sister were with him when he died. Mr. Vile moved here with his family from Vermont a few years ago and had been employed at the Millers Falls Co's shop the past winter. He was a fine young man and always devoted to his home and family and will be greatly missed in the home. He leaves his wife and three small children, his parents, Rev. and Mrs. Wm. J. Vile of Martindale, N. Y., and a sister, Mrs. Mrs. Pinney of Chester, Vt. Funeral services were held in the church in West Halifax, Vt. Last Saturday at 1 o'clock; burial in West Halifax, Vt. Mrs. Arthur Vile and Mrs. Archie Burnett and son Malcolm, Rev. and Mrs. Wm. J. Vile and Mrs. Pinney went with C. A. Parker by auto, to attend the funeral at West Halifax, and were met there by other relatives. Much sympathy is expressed for the family.
