Condolences may be sent to www.lbvfh.com. Mr. Schifferns was born Feb. 28, 1906, to Peter and Margaret (Bohr) Schifferns Jr. in Adams County, NE. On Aug. 19, 1947, he married Marie A. Seyler in Assumption Catholic Church. He farmed in the Roseland, NE area and later owned and operated a gas station in Roseland, NE and held other jobs before retiring in 1982. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Roseland, NE and Knights of Pythias and a past member of Eagles. Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Sheila Williamson and Therese Craft, both of Hastings, NE; two sons, Kenneth of Hastings, NE and Eugene of Papillion; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Vincent; seven brothers; three sisters; and one step grandchild. Memorials may be given to the family.
