Description	:	Arthur Frank Holz was born on February 18, 1922 in Clarks, NE to Hugo and Pearl (Inks) Holz. Art grew up in the O’Neill area where he attended school until the 8th grade. After school, he farmed northwest of O’Neill with his father until marrying Clara Babl on September 28, 1949 at the Epiphany Catholic Church in Emmett, NE. Read More	Arthur Frank Holz was born on February 18, 1922 in Clarks, NE to Hugo and Pearl (Inks) Holz. Art grew up in the O’Neill area where he attended school until the 8th grade. After school, he farmed northwest of O’Neill with his father until marrying Clara Babl on September 28, 1949 at the Epiphany Catholic Church in Emmett, NE. After they were married, Art and Clara moved to O’Neill, and he started working for the City of O’Neill. He later sold biscuits for 19 years for the Sunshine Biscuits Co. before going to work at St. Mary’s Schools. Art worked, and was a fixture at, St. Mary’s for over thirty years, retiring in the mid 90’s. You could always count on seeing him at St. Mary’s sporting events, especially basketball games. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him. He was a long time member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
