Description	:	Arthur Howard Schneringer was born to Lillian Lattin Schneringer and Arthur Schneringer on August 28, 1906 at Callaway, Nebraska. He passed away on July 3, 1981 at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 6 days. When he was one year old he moved with his parents to a farm near Cozad, Nebraska. He passed away on July 3, 1981 at the age of 74 years, 10 months and 6 days. When he was one year old he moved with his parents to a farm near Cozad, Nebraska. When he was 11 years of age he moved with his parents to his grandfather's farm west of Callaway. He attended rural schools at Cozad and Callaway. He graduated from Callaway High School in 1926. On April 11, 1932 he was married to Hazel Neth. They farmed in the vicinity of Callaway for 21 years. In January of 1953 they moved to a farm southeast of Broken Bow where they lived fro 18 years, moving to Broken Bow in 1971. In February of 1975 Howard entered Jennie Melham Long Term Unit in Broken Bow. In July of 1975 he entered Larsons Care Home in Aurora, Nebraska, remaining there until October of 1977 when he entered the Long Term Nursing Care Unit of Aurora Memorial Hospital. Howard accepted Christ as his Savior in November of 1924. He was baptized in the Loup River at Callaway and joined the Evangelical Church at Callaway, Nebraska. In 1953 he transferred his membership to the Evangelical United Brethern Church in Broken Bow and in 1975 his membership was transferred to the United Methodist Church in Aurora. Howard leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Hazel; daughter, Loretta Leach of Aurora; son, Allan Schneringer of Brighton, Colorado; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson; brother, Homer Schneringer of Callaway; several nieces and nephews and many friends.
