Mr. Bayne was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Greenville Chapter of the American Legion, and served in the US Army and the US Air Force Reserves. Mr. Bayne was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the Greenville Chapter of the American Legion, and served in the US Army and the US Air Force Reserves. Mr. Bayne is survived by his wife, as well as one daughter: Martha Bayne Elkins (Tony) of Greer, one granddaughter: Natasha Brooke Elkins, and one great-grandson: Cayden S. Ledford. Mr. Bayne is also survived by one brother: Paul Bayne of Greer and one sister: Carolyn Hamby (Jack) of Greer. He was predeceased by, one son: James Harlan Bayne, and two brothers: Edward Bayne and Gene Bayne. Service will be held Sunday, Feb. 2 at 3:00pm at Ebenezer UMC in Greer, with Rev. Burton Ott and Rev. Bill Brown officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30-3pm, prior to the service. Mr. Bayne's family will be at their respective homes.
