Description	:	There is no stone for Arthur or his wife Meriba but the Minot Death Book says he is buried here with his son George who does have a slate stone. Located 1/2 mile beyond the Harris/Bradbury/Poole Cemetery on the Harris Hill Road. At the top of a grade in the road and across from a house there is an abandoned road to the right. Cemetary is located on the top of this knoll about 75 feet back from the old road. Area is unkept and over grown with brush and trees. ------------------- History of Turner - The first school taught in town was a private school on the Lower Street, about 1788, Mr. Arthur Bradman being the teacher. Probably nothing was taught but reading, writing, arithmetic, and spelling. No text books were used in arithmetic, but the teacher placed examples on the slates of the scholars, and by performing these, with such explanations as were deemed necessary, they gained a knowledge of the rudiments of arithmetic. This method of teaching was practiced for many years.
