Born on December 30, 1935, in Clinton, Laurens County, SC, he was the son of the late Henry Grady & Leila Etta Blackmon Lambert. Buddy grew up in Clinton, SC, and later in Columbia, SC. He graduated from The University High School and worked at Sears Roebuck and The State movie theater after school hours. He married Dorothy Elizabeth Lorick on August 15, 1955 at the Centennial ARP Church. He married Dorothy Elizabeth Lorick on August 15, 1955 at the Centennial ARP Church. Buddy proudly served in the United States Marine Reserves. He was a member of the Surfside (PCA) Presbyterian Church He was retired from Sears Roebuck and Company after years of dedicated service. While working at Sears, his family moved from Columbia to the following places over the years, Charlottesville, VA; Florence, SC; Nashville,TN; Pensacola, FL; and spent his retirement years in Surfside Beach, SC. Surviving are his loving wife of 65 years, Dorothy Lorick Lambert; two children: Jill Lambert Lahbabi and John (Grady) Lambert, both of Surfside Beach; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren. Buddy was predeceased to the spirit land by his parents, and two sisters; Ruby Nell Lambert Sharpe & Brenda Ann Lambert; and one brother; Phillip Marvin Lambert Entombment will be in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church Cemetery, Irmo, SC at a latter date.
