Burial will be in the Marysville City Cemetery. Arthur was born March 5, 1922 to Vincent and Lenora (Rombeck) Pacha on the family farm, rural Marysville. Art farmed with his family and in 1942 joined the U.S. Air Force. He was a Prisoner of War from January of 1944 to May of 1945. He returned to Marysville, after being honorably discharged, and worked for Howell Lumber for thirty-six years. He helped Steve for thirteen years, doing carpentry. Art loved to play cards and go to the casinos. He was a member of the V.F.W, D.A.V., American Legion and the Historical Society. Art was a member of the St. Gregory’s Catholic Church. Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, Theodore, Albert, Bernard, Leo and Leonard; and sisters, Dorothy Stevens and Viola Reynolds. Survivors include his wife, Lorene Pacha, Bremen; children, Mary Parmentier, Topeka, Jean (Randy) Frerking, Marysville, Steven (Sherilyn) Pacha, Herkimer; nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren; brother Raymond Pacha, Marysville and sisters, Patty, Bismark, ND and Gertrude, KY.
