Both drivers lost control and the vehicles plunged into a 20-foot ravine. Maglecic, a bachelor, had been employed as a truck driver for the past 17 years. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Ernest FORD and Mrs. Lester GORDON, both of Rochester, and Mrs. Kenneth MILLER, Sunnyvale, Cal, and two brothers, Edward [MAGLECIC], Rochester, and John [MAGLECIC], Norwood, O. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home. ----- Published in The Rochester News-Sentinel Monday, July 22, 1963 Arthur Maglecic Funeral rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Zimmerman Brothers funeral home for Arthur MAGLECIC, 44, 414 East 10th street, who died in a car-truck accident Saturday in Ohio at 1:30 o'clock Saturday morning. The Rev. Russell GORDON of Dunkirk, O., will officiate and burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home. Maglecic was enroute to Toledo with a semi-trailer load of grain when the accident occurrd on U.S. 24 near Grand Rapids, O. Ohio police said that a car driven by William H. SMITH, 30, Toledo, was passing the truck when both drivers lost control. The vehicles plunged into a ravine 20 feet deep. Maglecic died of a broken neck and skull. Smith and a passenger, Carroll LEACH, 22, Toledo, also were killed. Another passenger, Channie NEWBERRY, 20, Toledo, was injurd. Maglecic was driving a truck owned by Everett RENTSCHLER, Liberty township, and had been employed as a truck driver 17 years. A veteran of World War II, he is a member of the Manitou Moose lodge. Born Jan. 7, 1919, at Delong, he was the son of William and Edna MILENKO MAGLECIC and had lived in this community all his life. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Ann) FORD and Mrs. Lester (Margaret) GORDON, both of Rochester, and Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) MILLER, Sunnyvale, Cal., and two brothers, Edward [MAGLECIC], Rochester, and John [MAGLECIC], Norwood, O.
