Sheldon, 91, formerly of South Main Street, an employee of Industrial National Bank, now Fleet National Bank, for 41 years before retiring in 1958, died Friday at the Brentwood Nursing Home, Warwick. He was the husband of the late Mabel (Reynolds) Sheldon. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Frank and Minnie R. (Murray) Sheldon, he lived in Harrisvillle, Burrillville, before moving to Warren in 1949. Mr. Sheldon started in banking in 1917 as a controller in the auditing department. He was the husband of the late Mabel (Reynolds) Sheldon. Born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Frank and Minnie R. He was a past president of the Warren Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of Nestell Lodge F & AM for more than 65 years, and the Providence Royal Arch Chapter 1. He was former treasurer and trustee of the Calvary Commandery 13 KT. He is survived by a son, a stepson, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
