Mr. Henry was born June 7, 1922, in Luray, and was a son of the late Frederick A. Henry and Betty (Jewell) Henry. He retired from the Town of Luray as a police officer and chief. Mr. Henry was born June 7, 1922, in Luray, and was a son of the late Frederick A. Henry and Betty (Jewell) Henry. He retired from the Town of Luray as a police officer and chief. He was a basket maker. Mr. Henry was an Army veteran of World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Neva Florence (Good) Henry, whom he married June 26, 1950; a brother, Amos Luther Henry, and a sister, Eva Mae Bywaters. Survivors include a nephew, whom he raised, Homer E. "Doodle" Good of Luray; a sister, Ruth Good of Luray; and two brothers, Paul Henry and Harold Henry. Pastor Frank Painter will conduct the funeral 2 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Bradley Funeral Home in Luray, where visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 21.
