Description	:	Funeral Held Tuesday for Art Hoffart, 43 Funeral services for Art Hoffart, 43, former Creighton businessman, who died Friday, Jan. 29, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Banitt officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Terry Hoffart, Jim Hoffart, Rolly Hoffart, Rex Hoffart, Dan Wacker and Mark Wacker. Mr. Hoffart was found in his car at an abandoned farmstead northeast of town. Death apparently was caused by carbon monoxide poisoning. Arthur Willis Hoffart was born Sept. 24, 1927 at Plainview to Mr. and Mrs. Henry J. Hoffart. He was baptized in the Eden Valley Lutheran Church. He was united in marriage with Eileen Tyler in 1949. Six children were born to them. They lived in Plainview, where Mr. Hoffart was in the fertilizer business. They moved to Creighton in 1965. He took over the former Tyler service station and continued in the fertilizer business until a couple of years ago. Mr. Hoffart was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Creighton. Surviving are his wife; three children, Dale of Alba, Cindy and Bruce at home; his parents; four brothers, Warren and Merle of Plainview, Erwin of Boston, Mass. and Henry Jr. of Hastings and two sisters, Mrs. Keith Lerum of Plainview and Mrs. Herb Wacker of Battle Creek.
