I first find Aryann Hunt, age 15, in the 1880 Census for Monroe County, Iowa, living with her grandparents, William and Rebecca Hunt, and her mother, Rhoda Hunt, age 42, single. --------------- Obituary From Ottumwa Daily Courier, Saturday, July 22, 1944, Page 10: Mrs. Ary Alspaugh, 79, of 602 Morris street, died at 9:20 p.m. Friday. Born June 17, 1865, at Blakesburg, the daughter of William and Rhoda Hunt, she had been a resident of Ottumwa for the past 50 years. Preceding her in death were her husband, William, and two daughters, Mrs. Isabel Crow and Mrs. Minnie Harton. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bertha Harton of Dubois, Wyo., and three grandchildren, Daniel James, Ottumwa; Mrs. Glen Hawkins, Ottumwa, and Mrs. William Meckem of Dubois, Wyo. Four great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Johnson funeral chapel, in charge of the Rev. Leo Simmons of Bloomfield. Burial will be made in Shaul cemetery.
