Mr. Jordan was born in Whiteville, NC, a son of the late C.B. Jordan and the late Pearl Lee Gore Jordan. He was a member of Aynor United Methodist Church where he was a member of the UMM Club. Read More	Asa Blix Jordan Sr., age 87, husband of Dorothy Bridgman Jordan, passed away January 28, 2013, at his residence surrounded by his family. Mr. Jordan was born in Whiteville, NC, a son of the late C.B. Jordan and the late Pearl Lee Gore Jordan. He was a member of Aynor United Methodist Church where he was a member of the UMM Club. He served on many different committees for several years. After serving in the United States Army in Germany during World War II, Mr. Jordan served in the United States Army National Guard for several years where he was a Master Sergeant. He was a former member of the American Legion in Aynor. Mr. Jordan was predeceased by five brothers, C.B. Jordan Jr., James O. Jordan, Malcolm M. Jordan, Clifton A. Jordan, Jack M. Jordan and one sister Edna Earle Ikner. Surviving Mr. Jordan, in addition to his wife of the home, are one son, Blix Jordan and his wife Ruthie, two daughters, Deborah Martin and her husband Levon, Susan Roach and her husband Woody, his twin brother Billy Jordan, all of Galivants Ferry, SC, two sisters, Hilda Dawsey of Gastonia, NC Helen Robbins of Florence, SC, six grandchildren, Amy Lambert and her husband Ryan of Atlanta, Ga., Jill Reeves and her husband Matthew of Birmingham, Ala., Emily Salley and her husband Brock, Bucky Jordan and his wife Briggs, Jennifer Rabon and her husband Chase, all of Aynor, SC, Dori Brown and her husband Jeremy of Galivants Ferry, SC, one step-granddaughter, Ivey Ridders and her husband Jason of Myrtle Beach, 14 great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
