Married Asenith Botkin in 1828 in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Asa and Asenith lived in Pennsylvania until 1830 when they moved to Morgan County, Ohio. They lived in Morgan County until 1842 when they moved to Clark County, Indiana. Lived in Indiana until 1852 when they came to Van Buren County, Iowa. They had a total of 10 children nine of which were: ... Married Asenith Botkin in 1828 in Greene County, Pennsylvania. Asa and Asenith lived in Pennsylvania until 1830 when they moved to Morgan County, Ohio. They lived in Morgan County until 1842 when they moved to Clark County, Indiana. Lived in Indiana until 1852 when they came to Van Buren County, Iowa. They had a total of 10 children nine of which were: John (1829-Died young, probably in Zanesville, Ohio), Thomas (1830-1891, married twice; the first to Emily Ellis, 1835-1871, the second to Elizabeth Emily Brent 1843-1930), Robert (1832-1908, married Eliza Singleton in 1855 in Van Buren County, Iowa. They had 4 children; Asa William, Della who married Frank Winters, Mrs. Willis Wilson, and Frances, 1860-1893, who married David Craig), Cornelius C. (1834 - 1900 Illinois), Sarah (1834-1895? Oklahoma?, married twice, the first to Anthony Bradford, he died in 1859, and the second to Hafford E. Bradford, no relation to Anthony),Matilda (1837-1907, married Christopher Columbus Fowler in 1853 in Van Buren County, Iowa, they had 4 children; Julien, Orien, Sarah C. 1862-1893, died in Harper County, Kansas, and Charles), Euphronius (1839-1882, married Melissa Olive Unknown, they had 2 children; Loren and Leona), Amanda (1842-1864, married George W. Brooks, they had 1 child; Charles L.), and Charles Callahan (1847 - 1935 Iowa)." Note: the above biography states Asa Prall was born in 1803 in New Jersey and his wife, Asenith Botkin was born in 1807 in Greene County, Pennsylvania. It also states Asenith's father was Robert Botkin, born in Ireland and her mother was of English birth.
