Description	:	Waterville Newspaper - Mar 1925 News reached here (Waterville, Wa) last Thursday that A G Reed, father of Mrs Samuel Ricedorff, had died at the home of his daughter that day and would be buried at Waterviille. The remains were shipped here, arriving Saturday morning and the funeral took place that afternoon; the local Masonic Lodge being in charge. A funeral service had been held at Arlington, Wa and the only service here was conducted by Worshipful Master W.H. Fraser at the grave. Mr Reed was well known here, having stayed at the home of his daughter (Mrs S J Ricedorff) at different times. He had passed the three score years and ten by a considerable number and would have been 93 years old on his next birthday. Deceased was born December 30, 1832 at New Philadelphia (Ohio City) Ohio. He died March 12, 1925 at the home of his daughter, Mrs A E Baker of Arlington, Wa. In the year 1854; at Middle Point, Ohio; he was united in marriage to Mary C Sutton, who preceded him in death twenty-two years ago. To this union six children were born; Mrs S J Ricedorff of Entiat, Wa; Lillian Arnold of Murray, Iowa; J F Reed of Sultan, Wa; Eliza C Baker of Arlington, Wa; William R Reed of Wister, Oklahoma; and Charles A Reed, who died three years ago at Caddon, Colorado. Mrs Ricedorff, Mrs Baker, J F Reed and his wife were here for the funeral. The sympathy of the community is extended to them in the loss of their father.
