Description	:	Audrey A. Keith, Sherwood, died Saturday at a Kenmare hospital. She went home to her heavenly Father on February 9, 2019, just days short of her 85th birthday. Audrey was born on February 16, 1934, in Grover Township, Renville County, rural Sherwood, the oldest child of John and Blanche (Tvetan) Anderson; she attended rural schools and Sherwood High School. She went home to her heavenly Father on February 9, 2019, just days short of her 85th birthday. Audrey was born on February 16, 1934, in Grover Township, Renville County, rural Sherwood, the oldest child of John and Blanche (Tvetan) Anderson; she attended rural schools and Sherwood High School. Audrey was united in marriage to Oran Keith on September 21, 1951. They lived in Port Townsend, WA, while he was in the military, and then moved back to North Dakota. They farmed near Mohall for several years before moving to Sherwood where they took over the farm from Audrey’s father. Audrey was active in the local Study Club, American Legion Auxiliary, Westhope and Bottineau Art Clubs, as well as serving with church ladies and attending Bible studies. She was a published author of short stories and poems which were almost always based on her own life experiences. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, frequently indulging their requests to ‘work with Grandma.’ Photography, painting, reading, and puzzles kept her occupied when she had free time. She also worked at the Sherwood Farmers’ Union Elevator for a few years. Audrey and Oran shared a true partnership and a lifetime love. During her final illness, Oran drove 45 miles one way to visit her every day for six weeks, missing only a few days due to winter storms. Family: Audrey is survived by her husband of 67 years, Oran Keith, Sherwood; children, Kathy (David) Daeley, Maddock, and Steve (Jerri) Keith, Sherwood; grandchildren, Jeff (April) Daeley, Mike Daeley, Alicia (Shawn) Olson, Jessica (Jody) Simpson, Lacey (Ben) Ethen, and Jarett Keith; great-grandchildren; Rileigh Kummer, Garrin Daeley, Chesney Gray, Camden Olson, Adleigh Olson, Ashlyn Simpson, Jayden Simpson, Gage Simpson, Kennedy Ethen and Kylee Ethen; brother, Paul (Glenda) Anderson, Mohall; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Audrey was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Nina Engh; and granddaughter, Samantha Keith. Brose Funeral Home
