Audrey, 84, of Elizabeth, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 27, 2019 in the Rapides Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born March 28, 1935 in Oakdale to the union of Evelton Johnson and Hazel (Strother) Johnson. In 1954, she graduated from Plainview High School. She was a faithful member of Union Hill Baptist Church for many years. Audrey was a former employee of the Calcasieu Paper Company. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend. She is preceded in by her parents, Evelton and Hazel Johnson; her husband, Kenneth Allen; two brothers, Evelton Johnson, Jr. and Charles Ray Johnson; and her twin sister. Those left behind to cherish her memory are: two sons, Kenny (Peggy) Allen of Alexandria and Greg (Sharon) Allen of Oakdale; one daughter, Kathleen (Rodney) Thompson of Ten Mile; one sister, Theda Rose Ray of Glenmora; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two on the way; along with a host of family and friends. Pallbearers to serve will be Jacob Allen, Aaron Allen, Cody Allen, Kasey Thompson, Brent Ray and Gerald Ray. Honorary pallbearers to serve will be Darren Johnson, Harold Ray, Myrl Ray, Jr., Earl “Bo” Ray and Dylan McFarland. Visitation will be held in the Union Hill Baptist Church on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m., then on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 8 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. in the church.
