Audrey Jane Randall was born February 13, 1921, in Maine Township, Linn County, Iowa, the daughter of Frank and Edna (Schenk) Randall. She graduated from Marion High School with the class of 1939. She was a graduate of Cedar Rapids Business College. She married Robert Edward Beck on April 16, 1944, at Prairie Chapel in Marion. They made Mechanicsville their home where they raised their four sons, Ronald, Kenneth, Larry, Keith. Robert died December 4, 2008. She was a farm wife and kept books. She enjoyed cross-stitch and baking pies. She was an active and involved member of the United Methodist Church in Mechanicsville, the local Bridge Club and United Methodist Women. Surviving are three sons, Ronald Beck of Waukesha, WI, Kenneth Beck of Mechanicsville, and Larry (Linda) Beck of Tipton; one daughter-in-law, Peggy Beck of Mechanicsville; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Keith Beck, one daughter-in-law, Barbara Beck, an infant granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Beck and one brother, Ivan Randall.
