Survivors include her husband, Henry Earl Watson of Havre; daughter Victoria "Viki" Blackburn and husband Don of Wickenburg, Ariz.; sons Craig Allan Watson and wife Linda of Houston, Texas, Henry Douglas Watson and wife Dianne of Havre and James Terry Watson and wife Barbara of Alpharetta, Ga.; 10 dearly beloved grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marion Kane of Somerset, N.J., and Evelyn Eyre of Torrington, Conn.; two brothers, Patrick Layhee of Watsonville, Calif., and retired Col. Harold F. Layhee of San Antonio, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews and sisters-in-law Jean Watson of Havre, Daisy Watson of Laurel and Gen Layhee of Plattsburg, N.Y. Audrey was born March 4, 1929, in Plattsburg, N.Y., the youngest of eight children born to Edward Lumas Layhee and Alberta Marguerita (Meader) Layhee. Audrey was raised in Dannemore, N.Y., and met Henry Earl Watson while he was stationed in New Jersey. They were married July 19, 1946, in New Brunswick, N.J., and were looking forward to sharing their 60th wedding anniversary this year. They traveled out west on the train to Gildford, Mont., where Earl and Audrey farmed north of Gildford for many years. Audrey was very active as a wife and mother, along with her callings in the First Baptist Church Women's Club. In 1964, they moved to Chinook, where she was active in raising her family, supporting her husband in his duties, and in many organizations, along with the Methodist Church, Cowbelle's Association, attending 4-H and Rodeo Club with her children, and a partnership in her own ceramic shop. Audrey was very artistic with clay, along with her floral design and interior design. Earl and Audrey founded and operated Watson Trucking from 1972 until 2003. They moved to Havre in 2004. Audrey's family was her priority and she enjoyed her many friends. She loved to bake, and her raisin-filled cookies are known by many. She loved to fish, travel, and enjoyed movies, football and basketball games and watching bullriding. She loved to sing and dance, read, and enjoyed gardening. Audrey was a hard worker, elegant, loving, and dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. All will miss you, Mother, your example, your graciousness and humor. Until we meet again. One of her favorite scriptures was, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me." (John 14:6) We love you.
