Description	:	Audrey M. "Aud" Shields, 89, died at 5:50 p.m. July 19, 2012, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born Dec. 24, 1922, in Knott County, Ky., to Tandy and Maudie Bolen Conley, who preceded her in death. On March 25, 1961, she married Francis C. "Barney" Shields, who died June 14, 1997. Mrs. Shields retired in 1991 from Wilson Sporting Goods, Ada, after 42 years. She had been a member of the McGuffey Fire Department Women's Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Dave, Bill and Edward Conley; and two sisters, Luna Jennings and Carolyn Conley. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger. Pastor David Trusty will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger. Lima News July 20, 2012
