Description	:	Audrey P. Moore Sanson, 90, died at 8:17 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007, in Rosewalk Village, where she had resided since October. She was born Feb. 21, 1916, to the late Lee and Lillie Moore near Otterbein on the family farm. As a young child, she helped on the family farm by gathering eggs and doing chores for her mother. She was born Feb. 21, 1916, to the late Lee and Lillie Moore near Otterbein on the family farm. As a young child, she helped on the family farm by gathering eggs and doing chores for her mother. She graduated from Otterbein High School with the class of 1934 and was married to William Sanson in Otterbein in March 1940. He preceded her in death in 1989. Mrs. Sanson had worked in the Otterbein Public Library from 1938-1940 and for L.S. Ayres & Co. in the early 1960s. She and her husband had also lived in Frankfort and Lafayette. She had been a member of the former EUB Church of Otterbein and Congress Street United Methodist in Lafayette. Her strong commitment to family history led her to a passion for genealogy. She traced her roots back to Germany, France, Scotland, England and Ireland. Ancestors Charles McKinnis fought with General Braddock and John Sanson marched with Sherman to the sea during the Civil War, and Edward Dawson and George McKinnis fought in the Revolutionary War. With that information, she was able to become a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was an accomplished pianist, and a personal highlight had been playing with 120 grand pianos in Indianapolis with her piano teacher, Frances Thanapower. She also had been a breeder of Purebred Pekinese dogs. Surviving are twin children, daughter, Lillian (Fred) Phillips of Lafayette and son, George Sanson (companion Wilma Krug) of rural Veedersburg; grandchildren, Ty (Stacie) Phillips, Cindy (Craig) Curtis, Dr. Misti Phillips (fiance Dr. Brian James), Karen (Tim) Loose, Kevin (Cheri) Krug, Scott (Kelly) Krug; great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Nicholas, Cassidy and Lilly Phillips, Colin and Caitlyn Curtis, Makayla Loose and Clint and Kameran Krug. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marion, and brothers, Ervin and Dale Moore. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Faith Lutheran Church in Otterbein, Pastor Dean Skow officiating. Friends may call at the church from 1 p.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Pond Grove Cemetery near Otterbein. Arrangements by Family and Friends Funeral Home of Wingate. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
