Pallbearers Named Pallbearers were members of the board of directors of the Credit Union. Women members of the board were in charge of the flowers. August D. was born Oct. 8, 1898, at Wyoming, the son of Christian J. and Erna Levsen Ingwersen. He spent his childhood in the Wyoming vicinity and attended school there. Jan. 7, 1920, he was married to Hilda Ahrendsen. They farmed for a time near Wyoming. In 1930 they moved to Anamosa where he operated a portable mill for three years. Following this he was assistant postmaster at Wyoming for several years, and then moved to Olin where he was a feed salesman for a time. In 1951 they moved to Maquoketa where he was treasurer of the Credit Union at the time of his death. Affiliations Told He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran church, Wyoming, in 1937.He belonged to St. John church in Olin during his residence there and at the time of his death was a member of First Lutheran, Maquoketa. Mrs Ingwersen died March 11 this year following a long illness with cancer. They were the parents of four daughters, three of whom survive. They are Doris, Mrs. C.E. Hartwig, Olin; Carmen, Mrs. Roy G. Miebe, Jr., Dubuque; and Mary Ann, Mrs. Ronald Pausen, Scotch Grove. Other survivors are seven grandsons; one granddaughter; a sister, Mrs. A.J. McAndrews, Madison, Wisc; a brother, Carl J. Chula Vista, Calif. A brother, Melvin, preceded him in death.
