He was born August 27, 1896 near Kelso, the son of Joseph and Margaret Seyer Glueck. On November 29, 1919 he married Miss Pauline Glastetter, who preceded him in death on October 27, 1976. Read More	Obituary from the Cape Girardeau, MO Southeast Missourian Sunday March 6, 1983:August Glueck, 86 years old, of Scott City, died here Friday at the home of his daughter. He was born August 27, 1896 near Kelso, the son of Joseph and Margaret Seyer Glueck. On November 29, 1919 he married Miss Pauline Glastetter, who preceded him in death on October 27, 1976. He was a member of the St. Augustine Parish at Kelso, the St. Augustine Men's Club, and the Scott City Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are sons, John and Charles Glueck, both of Scott City; daughter, Mrs. Virginia Vincent, Scott City; brother, Frank Glueck, Kelso; sister, Mrs. Agatha Westrich, Kelso; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. One son, one brother, three sisters, and a grandson preceded him in death. The body is at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here, where friends may call today. There will be a rosary at 7 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be conducted Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church at Kelso, with the Rev. Raymond Orf, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
