Description	:	August Hintz, died Nov. 25, 1923 at his old homestead about 5 miles northeast of the city from cancer. He died at the age of 77 years and 29 days. He was born Oct. 27, 1846 at Pomerania, Germany. He came to America in 1874. He was married in 1878 to Miss Wilhelmine Lambrecht. They had 4 sons and 3 daughters. One of his daughters Elizabeth died about 1894 and his wife died in 1913.
