He withstood the operation well at first but his condition after a week took a sudden turn." The funeral will be held Sunday at his old home 400 South Fifth street. He was survived by wife, 2 daughters: Miss Otelia Pilger, Miss Bertha Pilger, 3 sons: Arthur, Carl, Walter.
