Children Milton Lorenz,1928-2014, married Joan Quinton Lorenz, 1930-2020 , married Penny Naomi Rose Lorenz, 1937- , married Sterling He was baptized and confirmed at the Delaware church near Syracuse. He attended a rural school and later graduated from the Sterling Academy at Sterling, NE. In 1925, "Shorty" moved to Johnson, where he worked for the Farmers Union. Married to Ottilie Deubler on Dec. 25, 1926, at the home of her parents, Rev. and Mrs. Conrad Deubler near Johnson, NE. All of their married life was spent in the Johnson community where for many years he owned and operated a grocery store. Three children were born to this marriage. He was a member of Zion Lutheran church and had served on the board; a member of Lutheran Brotherhood and the Johnson Chamaber of Commerce. He had been in failing health the past ten years. He entered the Clarkson Hospital in OMaha Feb. 22, where he passed away March 4, 1980. He had reached the age of 74 years, three months and five days. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife, Ottilie, of Johnson; three children, son, Milton of Omaha, son Quintin of HUtchinson, KS. daughter Mrs. Sterling Kohrs of Beatrice, NE. seven grandchildren, one brother, Orville LOrenz of Dunbar; other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Mar. 7 at Zion Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Arthur Stull.Evelyn Rosenbohm was organist. Pallbearers were Scott Kohrs, Arvin Deubler, Phillip Kohrs, Jeffrey Kohrs, Larry LOrenz and Maurice Deubler. Burial was in the church cemetery.
