Description	:	spouse: Peter Kroenecke Grandmother Krönecke Auguste Anna Krönecke, wife of the departed Mr. Pater Krönecke, was born in the year 1833, the third youngest child of Mr. Ganske and his wife in Rogasen, Province of Posen, and baptized and confirmed there. She lost her father and mother in the war when she was still young. In her 26th year, the departed married Peter Krönecke. She was able to live with him for 18 years. She lost her father and mother in the war when she was still young. In her 26th year, the departed married Peter Krönecke. She was able to live with him for 18 years. Like many others, the family Krönecke decided to emigrate; Cook County, Ill. was the first destination, later they resettled to Bremer County, where Mr. Krönecke purchased a farm about three miles southeast of Denver. The departed spent the rest of her life here. Of the 8 children that came from the marriage, six died early and only a son and a daughter are still alive. When after the death of the father the farm went into the hands of the only son, Mother Krönecke moved into a little cottage where she spent the rest of her life in rest and silence. The Sunday before last, she began to complain about being unwell; she lost strength rapidly. On Friday afternoon she took Communion. She fell asleep early on Saturday. Her age was 81 years, 8 months, and 2 days. She is survived by an elderly brother in Germany, a sister, Mrs. Michael Wille, a son, Mr. F. Krönecke with wife Wilhelmine born Luther, a daughter Wilhelmine with her husband, Johann Bubre from Lawler, Iowa, and 13 grandchildren. The funeral was on Monday afternoon at the St. Peter's Lutheran Community, with Pastor Schönbohm officiating. She rests in peace and the eternal light illuminates her. - contributor Sue Rife -
