Those in the quartet were Misses Hazel Erickson and Daisey Olson and Messrs. C.C. Olson and G.E. Westberg. They were accompanied by Mrs. Henry scharnweber. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cole were in charge of the many beautiful flowers whichacquaintances sent for the funeral. those who carried the casket were Messrs. Frank Newman. Emil Berglund, Henry Peterson, Charles Olson, Oliver Anderson and Oscar Swanson. all of Stratford. Internment was made in Linwood Park cemetery, east. Augusta Fredericka Samuelson Bergman was born in Sweden, October 1, 1878 and died at her home in Boone, August 8, 1930, at the age of 52 years, 10 months, 8 days. she came to america with her parents and two sisters in 1884, and with them resided on a farm near Stratford. At the age of 14 years she was confirmed at the Swedish Mission church in Stratford. She was united in marriage to Ed Bergman, of Boone, Sep. 23, 1899. they located at Stratford where Mr. Bergman was carpenter and contractor, moving to Boone three and a half years ago where his is now custodian at Washington school. To this union was born nine children, one having died in infancy. she leaves to mourn her husband, eight chidren, Carl Bergman, of Stratford, Mrs. Milton Nelson, of Dayton, Mrs. Elsie McMillen, of Dayton, Mrs. Zeph Knight, of Boone, Mrs. August Flickinger, of Stratford, Miss Grace Bergman and Rudolph Bergman, of Boone; one sister, Mrs. A.P. Olson, of Stratford, and by one step-brother, Andrew Johnson, of Stratford, and two step-sisters, Mrs. Gust Leaf and Mrs. John Quick, both of Stratford, and six grandchildren. She also leaves a number of other relatives and friends. Corrections to obituary: -Her father (Carl Samuelson) and one sister came to America in 1882, she came in 1884 with her mother and remaining sister.
