Mr. Jacobs was born April 25, 1886, at St. Paul to Harry and Sarah Jacobs. He was educated in the St. Paul schools. He was married to Ura Welsh Aug. 21, 1905, in Grand Island. They spent their entire married life in the St. Paul area. He was employed at one time in the former Consolidated Mills with his father and then worked for many years as a police officer. Survivors include his wife Ura; three daughters, Mrs. Fern Neal of San Antonio, Tex., Mrs. Eunice Absalon of Lincoln and Mrs. Bernice Vinor of Frankfort, Germany; two sons, Harry A. and Keith C. of St. Paul; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Kinsinger of North Hollywood, Calif., and Mrs. Florence DeWitt of Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Alfred F. of St. Paul and Adrian of Los Angeles, Calif.; ten grandchildren, and 27 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two sons, Clifford and Clayton.
