Mrs Carroll YOST will sing accompanied by Mrs Marguerite CARNES at the organ. Masonic rites will be conducted at the Church. Interment will be in the Oakdale Cemetery with Alfred BRODERSON, Homer KESTER, C I GILLESPIE, Harold RICE, Harold KESTER, and Charles SALSIBURY serving as pallbearers. Austin Edward MALZACHER, son of John and Jennie MALZACHER, was born on a farm north of Oakdale on September 23, 1874 and died at his home at Neligh on June 23, 1964, at the age of 80 years and 9 months. On April 27, 1898 he was married to May O WAGNER of Oakdale at the home of her parents. Their marriage untied two pioneer families of the Oakdale community. To this union seven children were born, a daughter, Gladys, died in infancy. They made their home near Oakdale until 1907 when they moved to Neligh at which time he entered the County Treasurer's office. Mr MALZACHER was president of the Neligh Lumber Company until he retired in 1946. He was a 50 year member of the Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge and was active in both Church and community affairs. Survivors are two sons, Dr John MALZACHER of Twisp, Washington, and Paul of Neligh, four daughters, Mrs C C POWERS of Wayne, Mrs S W THORNTON of Omaha, Mrs O E KROHN and Mrs G W WEIK, both of Neligh, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and four half sisters.
