(Oddly, he and his brothers aren't shown on the census record, but surely they lived there, too.) In 1920 he and his wife and their two children lived in a house they were renting at 393 Florence Street in Newark, OH. He worked as a moulder in a stove foundry. In 1930 he and Mary, their three children, her mother, and her paternal grandfather lived in a place they were renting for $20 a month at 12 Cedar Street (whether North or South was not recorded from the census record) in Newark. They did have a radio. He still worked as a moulder at a stove foundry. In 1940 he and his wife, their three children, plus Evelyn's husband and their daughter (technically renting at 18 1/2 South Pine for five dollars a month), lived in a house they owned at 18 South Pine Street in Newark. Their home was valued at $1900. He worked as a moulder in an airplane factory, Charles as a salesman in a retail clothing store, and Harold Mantonya as an inspector in a fiberglass factory.
