W. Clark passed away at her home in this city on Thursday, December 15, 1932, at the age of 73 years and 9 months. About five weeks ago she became ill of heart trouble. Autentia Taylor, youngest daughter of John and Louisiana Taylor, was born March 15, 1859, near Adyeville, Indiana. She lived in that vicinity with her parents, four sisters and four brothers during her entire girlhood. On July 24, 1879, she was united in marriage with John W. Clark. Four children, three daughters and one son were born to this union. They continues to live near Adyeville, Indiana, until 1904, when they moved to Louisville, Kentucky. In 1911 they came to Akron, Iowa, which has since been their home. On July 24, 1929, Mr. and Mrs. Clark celebrated their golden wedding anniversary. Mrs. Clark had been a member of the Baptist Church for many years. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, J. W. Clark, of this city; two daughters, Mrs. H. Cummins, of this vicinity; Mrs. J. L. Parr, of Bolivar, Ohio, and one son. Russell Clark, near Akron. One daughter, Louisiana, passed away In infancy. She is also survived by two brothers, Sherman Taylor, of Jetmore. Kansas, and Granville Taylor, of Missouri; thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the First Baptist Church, conducted by Rev R. E. Brown. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
