Description	:	Autry was born Dec. 4, 1901, in Rural Retreat, Virginia, and came to Nickerson, Nebraska at the age of seven. He moved to Valley, Nebraska in 1930 and returned to Nickerson in 1936. He was a farmer. Mr. Freeman was married to Esther Brand at Hartington, Nebraska on Sept. 13, 1922. He was a member of the Methodist Church and an honorary member, charter member and past president of the Nickerson Volunteer Firemen. Services for Autry David Freeman, 59, will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Lattin & Dugan Funeral Chapel in Fremont with the Rev. Ella A. Powell officiating. He died Friday in a Fremont hospital. Left to cherish his memory are his widow; two sons, Donald and Robert C. both of Fremont; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Kay) Hampson of Hawaii and Mrs. Bess Sutliffe of Wytheville, Va.; and nine grandchildren. Burial will be In the Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
