Mrs. Denburger was born in Oskaloosa and taught in rural schools in Mahaska County for many years. From 1981 to 1996, she was manager of Norwich Apartments in Oskaloosa. She was a member of First Christian Church and Esther Circle of Christian Women's Fellowship. She is survived by a daughter, Lois Bainbridge, and twin sons, Leland and Leo, all of Oskaloosa; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Visitation will begin today with family present from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Coal Creek Cemetery Association or her church.
