Canfield, peacefully ebbed away to the beyond Tuesday morning, Jan. 24, 1911, at 6 o'clock. She was born Feb. 16, 1892, in Fairview township, and was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bringle. Her entire life was spent at her home until she was married, Aug. 11, 1909, George Canfield, but they remained in the same locality until September, 1910, when they moved to a farm near Hallowell. Canfield, peacefully ebbed away to the beyond Tuesday morning, Jan. 24, 1911, at 6 o'clock. She was born Feb. 16, 1892, in Fairview township, and was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Bringle. Her entire life was spent at her home until she was married, Aug. 11, 1909, George Canfield, but they remained in the same locality until September, 1910, when they moved to a farm near Hallowell. To this union one son was born, Jan. 9, 1911, which soon died. She was blessed with a sunny disposition and was ever ready to assist the needy and comfort the sorrowing. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Ira Beamer of Hallowell, at the Friendship church, and the body was laid to rest in a double grave by her infant son in the Friendship cemetery. She leaves to mourn her loss a kind and loving husband, a father and mother, two sisters, one brother and a host of relatives and friends.
