She was born January 4, 1932 in Ottumwa to Paul James and Elizabeth Orndoff Heckart. She married Robert "Bob" K. Clark February 18, 1950 in Ottumwa. She was a member of the First Church of God, and attended Trinity Church of the Nazarene, both in Ottumwa. She attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Edinburg, TX. She was a member of Ottumwa Chapter #112 Order of Eastern Star. Barbara loved her church, her grandchildren, Tisha, Dusty "Little Dusty", her precious friends, and singing with her late brother, Paul Heckart at nursing homes, churches and for funerals for many years. Surviving are her husband, Bob; a daughter, Kathy (Marion) Tolle of Edinburg, TX; two grandchildren, Tisha (Marion Wm) Tolle of Dyer, IN and Dusty (Sarah) Wheeler of Princeton, MO; three great-grandchildren, Malcolm, Austin and Rachelle Tolle; four step-grandchildren, Marchele (Jim) Jerome of Van Alysten, TX, Marcia (Jeff) Patridge of Jefferson City, MO, Marlisa (Kevin) Klinginsmith of Trenton, MO, Marion Wm (Tisha) Tolle of Dyer, IN; 6 step-great-grandchildren; and a brother Kenny Heckart of McAllen, TX; her godson, "Baby" Brent Baker of Ottumwa; her "son in Christ", Henry. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bud and Paul Heckart; five sisters, Beatrice Tomlinson, Mary Lee Buehner, Betty McCaughey, Beverly Rusch and infant Delores Heckart; and a grandson, Christopher Wheeler. Burial took place at Shaul Cemetery in Ottumwa. Memorials may be made to Fellowship Baptist Church in Edinburg, Texas. Published in The Monitor on June 3, 2011
