Born Dec. 10, 1936, in Rowan County, she was the daughter of the late Adam H. and Jettie Moose Peeler. She was a graduate of Granite Quarry High School and Lenoir Rhyne College with a business degree. She retired from the Rowan-Salisbury School, Central Office as a bookkeeper and payroll personnel after 42 years. A life member and active member of Wittenberg Lutheran Church, she was a member of ELCA, the past president of the Association of NC and Notional Association of Educational Office Professionals, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #448 and a member of the town of Granite Quarry Historical Centennial Committee. Survivors include sisters Rebecca P. Henderson, Statesville, Edith Fraley, Granite Quarry, and Nancy P. Kluttz, Signal Mountain, Tenn.; and a number of nieces and nephews. Services: 11 a.m. Monday at Wittenburg Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Linda Voelker, pastor, and Pastor and the Rev. David Lohr, former pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 7:30 p.m. tonight at Powles Funeral Home. Memorials: Wittenberg Lutheran Church, Memorial Fund, P.O.
