Description	:	WATERVILLE - On October 30, 2014, Barbara left this world to be with her beloved husband. Barbara was born October 15, 1946, in Lincoln, Maine. She was the oldest daughter of Karl and Glendora Larrabee. Barbara grew up in Sidney, Maine, and was educated in Sidney schools. She married Alfred "Bubba" Jones in 1965, and they had four girls, Tina, Debbie, Sandy and Kim. In 1985 she married Carl Mitchell and was married to him until his death in 1999. Read More	WATERVILLE - On October 30, 2014, Barbara left this world to be with her beloved husband. Barbara was born October 15, 1946, in Lincoln, Maine. She was the oldest daughter of Karl and Glendora Larrabee. Barbara grew up in Sidney, Maine, and was educated in Sidney schools. She married Alfred "Bubba" Jones in 1965, and they had four girls, Tina, Debbie, Sandy and Kim. In 1985 she married Carl Mitchell and was married to him until his death in 1999. Barbara loved to crochet afghans and make crafts and go bowling. She loved being around children, and when her kids were all in school, she would "borrow" a niece or nephew to babysit for the day. Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Carl; her father, Karl; and her brother, Karl "Sonny." She is survived by her mother, Glendora Coombs; daughters Tina (Roger) White, of Jefferson, Debbie Jones, of Waterville, Sandra Child, of Mexico, and Kimberly (Wayne) Nelson, of Windham; sister Carol McIntire, of Medway, brother James Larrabee, of China, half-brothers Mark and Timmy Larrabee; half-sisters Marie Mclaughlin, Denise Jones and Mista Tesseo; and stepmother Ardath Wood; also six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; as well as her special friend, Ruthie; and all her friends at the Riverview Manor Apartments. A graveside service will be held November 16 at 2 p.m. at the Quaker Hill cemetery on Quaker Hill Road, Unity. (Morning Sentinel 11/1/2014)
