C, Tuesday, October 24, 1922, after a lingering illness due to old age, at the home of her grandson, Mr. Otto Kiser. Mrs. Kiser was the widow of Mr. Noah Kiser who died a number of years ago, and was the oldest child of the late Daniel and Margaret Froneberger, of this county. C, Tuesday, October 24, 1922, after a lingering illness due to old age, at the home of her grandson, Mr. Otto Kiser. Mrs. Kiser was the widow of Mr. Noah Kiser who died a number of years ago, and was the oldest child of the late Daniel and Margaret Froneberger, of this county. She was eighty-six years old, and was the mother of eight children, two having died in infancy. Those living are Messrs. Rufus, Charlie, Dan and Will Kiser, of Blacksburg, S. C., and Mrs. Hugh White, of Yorkville, and Mrs. Dora Harper, of Blacksburg. The deceased leaves also, who mourn her departure, twenty-six grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren. One brother survives, Mr. D. Pink Froneberger, of Bessemer City; three sisters, Mesdames Rachel Shetley and Matt Clemmer, of Bessemer City, and Mrs. Robert Brown, of Cherryville. One brother, Mr. Caleb Froneberger, was killed during the Civil War, another brother, Mr. Wil Froneberger, who formerly lived in Gastonia, died four years ago in Washington, one sister, Mrs. Dorcus Wells, also died a number of years ago. Mrs. Kiser was a life-long member of the Presbyterian church, and was buried in the cemetery at Buffalo, a country church of that denomination several miles out from Blacksburg. In addition to her own family she also reared six grand-children, whose mother died while they were quite young. Mr. D. P. Froneberger, Mrs. Rachel Shetley, Mrs. Matt Clemmer, M. P. Shetley and E. L.
