Description	:	FISHER, BARBARA—DIED—At her home in Geneva, Neb., at 11:45 a.m., Wednesday March 20th, 1901, of Jaundice. Barbara, wife of John Fisher, aged 66 years, 6 months and 13 days. Barbara Harold was born in Baden, Germany, September 7, 1834. She came to this country with her parents, settling in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was married to John Fisher at Mt. Joy in that county in 1855. Later they removed to Stephenson County, Illinois. Thence they removed to Nebraska, settling in Geneva in April, 1887. Barbara, wife of John Fisher, aged 66 years, 6 months and 13 days. Barbara Harold was born in Baden, Germany, September 7, 1834. She came to this country with her parents, settling in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was married to John Fisher at Mt. Joy in that county in 1855. Later they removed to Stephenson County, Illinois. Thence they removed to Nebraska, settling in Geneva in April, 1887. Thus they have been residents of Geneva for fourteen years. There survived the deceased, her aged husband, John Fisher, and six children: Levi, Misses Leah P. and Lizzie Fisher and Mrs. C. R. Shickley of Geneva; Mrs. Albert Best of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Amanda Heidy of Ponca, Neb. Three children, Mrs. J. Heidy, and Frank and Ella Fisher preceded her in death. Mrs. Fisher had been a member of the German Evangelical Church for many years. She suffered much during the five months of her illness. The funeral will take place from the family residence at 2 o’clock this afternoon, and will be conducted by Rev. F. A. Colony. The interment will be in the Geneva Cemetery.
