Read More	Barbara Jane Albright Walker 1943 ~ 2021 (age 78) Barbara Jane Albright Walker, 78, of Ramseur, passed away Monday, November 29, 2021 at her residence. Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Ramseur Wesleyan Church. Officiating, Rev. Leonard Rex. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Barbara was born June 23, 1943 to Nathan William and Lynette Mattie Ferree Albright. She was the oldest of ten children and graduated from Coleridge High School in 1961. She attended Hamlet School of Nursing, Asheboro Commercial College and Randolph Community College and retired from Ramtex as a Supply Room clerk with 44 years of service. For 35 years she was a member of Crestview Wesleyan Church where she loved working with children at church. She served the church in several capacities such as member of church board, secretary and treasurer of church, director of Clubhouse ministries and VBS, member of choir and Sunday School teacher. Barbara loved cooking and getting together with her family and friends. Also she dearly loved her fur babies which she took in lots of them but most of all she loved the Lord. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Luther Odell Walker, her parents, sister, Carol Jeanne Albright Hammonds, brother Michael Nathan Albright, sister-in-law, Joyce Briden, brothers-in-law, Allen Luther, Clinton Walker, Charles Edwards, Frank Briden, James Hammonds, Sr. Survivors: daughters, Christine Barker and husband, Monty, Connie Walker, sisters, Chloe Sink and husband, Mike, Bonnie Edwards, Kathy Allen and husband, Rickey, Doris Welborn and husband, Renay, Donna Rex and husband, Leonard, brothers, Lawrence Albright and wife, Sandra, Stuart Albright and wife, Jamie, granddaughter, Angela Barker, sister-in-laws, Deborah Albright, Barbara Luther, Audrey Walker, 24 nieces and nephews, and 24 great nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers, Linda Willett, Janice Berner, and Sarah Tucker. Visitation, 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM, Thursday, December 2, Ramseur Wesleyan Church and also at 110 Coleridge Road on Wednesday, December 1 from 2-6:00 PM.
