Barbara Jeanne was 87 years of age having been born on February 13, 1922 in Holdrege, Nebraska, the fifth of six children of Roy and Ethel (Taylor) Moore. Barbara Jeanne was 87 years of age having been born on February 13, 1922 in Holdrege, Nebraska, the fifth of six children of Roy and Ethel (Taylor) Moore. Barbara Jeanne was baptized in the Methodist Church. Jeanne received her education in Holdrege, graduating from Holdrege High School with the class of 1939. On October 22, 1939 she was united in marriage to Kenneth N. Anderson in Holdrege. To this union three daughters were born: Deanna, Carol Sue, and Kathy. They made their home on a farm north of Axtell until 1964, when they moved to their current home in Axtell. Barbara Jeanne and Kenneth were devoted to each other for 70 years of marriage. Barbara Jeanne was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Axtell,Nebraska where she was actively involved in the music and ladies circles. Barbara Jeanne played the piano for various choirs and Sunday services and was requested by many soloists throughout the years. She enjoyed many friendship bonds through the years as a member of the H.O.A. Club (Help-One-Another) for 50 years. She was also involved in several card clubs including: Bridge and Somerset. She and her husband also enjoyed traveling together with friends, going numerous places including: Hawaii, Mexico, Texas, Florida, Arizona and on a cruise. Her many hobbies included: crocheting and sewing, playing the piano and organ, golfing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her Swedish rye bread will be remembered by all family members and friends. Survivors are her husband, Kenneth Anderson of Axtell, Nebraska; daughters: Deanna Bergstrom and her husband, Gayle of Wilcox, Nebraska; Carol Reed and her husband, Larry of Summer Haven Lake, Nebraska; and Kathy Weis and her husband, Darrel of Kearney, Nebraska; brother, Delbert Moore of Holdrege, Nebraska; brother-in-law, Bruce Anderson and his wife, Laurene of Holdrege, Nebraska; sisters-in-law, Muriel Kardell and her husband, Kenneth of Dixon, Nebraska; Elna Bragg of Holdrege, Nebraska; and a host relatives and friends. Barbara Jeanne was welcomed into The Heavenly Home by her parents, Roy and Ethel Moore; granddaughter, Lisa Weis; sisters: Maggie Erickson and Irene Headberg; brothers: Robert Moore and Newton Moore and sister-in-law, Ruth Peterson.
