Description	:	Mrs. Barbara Krejci died at the home of her grand-daughter, Mrs. Anton Cermak, last Thursday evening. She had suffered from blood poisoning in one of her lower limbs several years ago but recovered. 3 months ago there was a recurrence of the infection and gangrene developed causing her death. At the time of her death she was eighty-four years of age. Funeral services were held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard on Saturday morning, and her remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery by the side of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Holeka. Funeral services were held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Brainard on Saturday morning, and her remains were laid to rest in the Catholic Cemetery by the side of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Holeka. Pall-bearers were Joe Vampola, Joe Lebeda, Anton Cermak, Frank Tichy, Jerry Holeka and Charles Fiala. Folks from elsewhere attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Lebeda of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tichy of Prague, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Cermak of David City and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Coufal of Bee. The deceased is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frances Hubeny of Chicago, ten grandchildren and ten great-grand-children. Her husband died fifty-two years ago, one daughter died in 1917 and another daughter died several years ago in North Dakota. Miss Barbara Jelinek was born and grew to womanhood in Europe. There she was married and resided until about 1900 when, as a widow, with her three daughters came to America. They resided in Chicago for a few years and then, her daughters being married, she came and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Joe Holek[a] and family.
