Barbara was born on Jan. 11, 1933 to Robert and Eva (Overlock) Rogers in Waterville and attended schools in the Waterville area. In 1962, Barbara... Read More	WATERVILLE - Barbara Lucy (Rogers) Breault 85, passed peacefully and went to be with her beloved husband, Milton, on Aug. 12, 2018. Barbara was born on Jan. 11, 1933 to Robert and Eva (Overlock) Rogers in Waterville and attended schools in the Waterville area. Barbara was a young girl when she met the person who would become her partner for life. She and Milton Breault were married on May 15, 1951, and they were married for almost 67 years when he passed on March 6, 2018. They started a family right away and had five children. In 1962, Barbara and Milton fulfilled a dream and bought a house of their own in East Vassalboro, which is still the family home. For the most part, Barbara was a stay-at-home mom, but she did not shirk hard work. So, as her kids got older, she got jobs outside the home; at a root beer stand, her uncle Arthur's motel and a pharmacy. When her youngest was in high school, Barbara went to hairdressing school. She had been cutting everyone's hair in the family for years, so it was only natural that she pick up the scissors professionally. She stayed in that career for many years until she retired. Barbara and her husband were very active in St. Bridget's Catholic Church and their community through organizations like the East Vassalboro Grange. Barbara was also active in the girl scouts, the PTA and the Kris Luba Club. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Winslow VFW and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Barbara was a loving mother, wife, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin and neighbor and she will be missed deeply. She is survived by her sister, Joan Berg and husband, Ken of Silverdale, Washington; her five children: Deborah Rogers and husband Ben of Winslow, Susan Watts of Waterville, Christopher Breault and wife Lucille of East Vassalboro, Andrew Breault and wife Peggy of South China and Douglas Breault of North Vassalboro; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Milton; her father, Robert Rogers and her mother, Eva Rogers. Barbara's family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Mount St. Joseph for the love and care that they gave to Mom in the last year, and MaineGeneral Hospice, especially Karen and Bill, for the exceptional comfort they provided to Mom at the end of her life. We are grateful to all. Committal prayers for both Barbara and her husband Milton with military honors will be in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Waterville.
