Burial will be in the Ewing City Cemetery. Pastor Stuart Davis will officiate. Barbara passed away Friday, May 15, 2015, at her home near Ewing, NE. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Dorrence, 5 children; Mark Hobbs and wife Gwen of Ewing, NE, Pamela Klabenes and husband Bill of Lincoln, NE, Anita Campbell and husband Brian of Lincoln, NE, Natalie Hobbs of Ewing, NE, and Shelly Hobbs of O’Neill, NE, 18 Grandchildren and 40 Great Grandchildren. Barbara was born on March 17, 1939 in Ewing, NE, to Marcus and Ruby (Angus) Snyder. She received her education at the Ewing Public School. She married Dorrence M. Hobbs on May 13, 1956 at Ewing, NE. They raised their family in Chambers before moving to Ewing in 1985. She was a member of the Bowling Leagues in Chambers and Ewing. She was the proud owner of the Hilltop Kennel and a member of the American Kennel Club. She was an avid lover of all kinds of flowers and birds. What she most enjoyed was spending time with her family. Barbara was a loving mother and wife, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother Arthur Snyder, one grandson Samuel Hobbs, and one daughter-in-law Peggy Hobbs. (biglinsmortuary.com/obituary)
